Econocom Nexica in a cyborg Festibity

Econocom Nexica has once again sponsored Festibity. This autumn edition of the 18th Festibity, organized by the Faculty of Informatics of the UPC and the FIB Alumni at the Estació de l'Nord in Barcelona, ​​has given us pleasant surprises. Journalist Xantal Llavina has been brilliant in the event; also the speech of Marta Continente, CIO of Barcelona City Council, in defense of ICT talent also in women, and Jordi Puigneró, Vice President and Minister of Digital and Territorial Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, underlining the power of the technology sector.

We also had the opportunity of know the story of Neil Harbisson (born 27 July 1984), a Catalan-born British-Irish cyborg artist and activist. He is best known for being the first person in the world with an antenna implanted in his head and for claiming to be legally recognised as a cyborg by a government.
